Robin Hood is a 33′ Timber Cutter Built in Perth Western Australia circa 1958 by Van Giels Ship Builders Pty. Ltd. It was Mick Lombardo’s first boat and may be an Arthur Bishop variation of the “Wild Duck” designs by William W. Atkin.
Since changing hands in 2016 she is gradually being restored. The mast has been stripped and restored and revarnished. The topsides are being stripped and repainted. Sister ribs are being fixed in order to stabilize the planking until it can be resurfaced. Rigging has been replaced and Belaying pins installed. The antifoul color is being changed to the traditional Morone color. The decks and cabin top have been repainted.
